Lagos is a town in southern Portugal’s Algarve region. It’s known for its walled old town, golden cliffs and Atlantic beaches with turquoise blue waters. Hear the sounds of late night street chatter, restaurant dining, and music from local bars while exploring the busy streets and back alleys.

We ate at Restaurante Reis ( and tried the Arroz de tamboril / Monk fish rice, which was quite fresh and tasty. It was big enough for two people.
