  1. Can't wait to share this exciting new chapter with you guys and document the entire process of how we try to convert this abandoned land into a thriving off grid homestead. Thank you all so much for your support and kindness! More videos coming soon!

  2. Congratulations on your acquisition. I am very excited to watch how your jorney develops. You have been my inspiration to start in my own place. I am buying a small piece of land very soon and I will be watching your progress. Best to you and your family.

  3. Congratulations! This will be a great new chapter of life and watching it unfold over time will be both educational and a big inspiration. My wife and I bought a property in the US and the transition to farming course. While it's scary and at times quite overwhelming, watching Moreno and family will keep me motivated.
Thanks Moreno, looking forward to following this journey!

  4. Welcome back! Watched your commercial farm series and learned about no-dig gardening. We bought a piece of land in Portugal a few months ago so will continue to watch your journey as we go through ours. We are in rural Algarve region. Similar rugged land and hoping to turn it into a permaculture success. Best of luck to you but I’m sure you’ll be fine.

  5. I am so happy for you and your family to get a place of your dreams. I lived in the city a year ago moved out to the desert here in Arizona there is no soil here there is just desert dirt. It takes a little time to get used to the dirt to make it into soil but I now have many fruit trees and all types of vegetables I know you and your family will do a wonderful job on the property I can't wait to see what it looks like in the future

  6. Massive congratulations guys :-).
We met you in Foz do Arelho (we were also looking for a house and travelling with 7 animals 😂).
We moved to our house & land in February, like you ours has no trees and the soil is very poor so I’m really looking forward to your videos.
    Good luck x

  7. Hey, are you not worried about the effects that climate change might have on Portugal? There are already never seen before draughts there, in my opinion Portugal will turn into a desert landscape in 20-30 years due to rising temperatures and changing rainfall patters. What are your thoughts on this?

  8. Hey Moreno! Portuguese "permaculturist" here following you for a long tie. Thank you so much for standing out Portugal and specially for making succh a great project where arid soil are abundant.
