We have been telling you we had some news for a while… we just didn’t realise it would take this long! But it is finally here, our farm in rural portugal. No its not in the Algarve like we originally planned but we will explain all soon. Trust me, our first few months here and Portugal really did put us to the test.
However, it has been a blessing in disguise as we found this place in the mountains which is even bigger and better than anything we could have ever imagined. The views are stunning, the air is fresh and it’s ours. We have big plans for this place and LOTS of work to get started on. So come join us on the adventure of a lifetime as we renovate this little piece of paradise in the portuguese mountains. We just have to get rid of a few spiders first.
Also do not worry, we definitely still want to travel around and show you all what this small but wonderful country has to offer.

the woman here is so hectic and for me old house it was exhausting to watch. I hope that you two will quickly get rid of the feeling of big city life and no longer swim in the mass flow. in southern countries the clocks tick differently, the people are more attentive, more helpful, friendlier and less materialistic. you can also achieve a lot with new paint from old furniture, which is always of better quality than the crap from ikea

Congratulations on your new home/land! That’s a vintage vanity dresser bottom. It’s missing the round mirror on top. You could DIY into two nightstands. I love finding vintage furniture in the homes. A lot of times they are still usable or easily modified.

Oh wonderful congratulations I’m just back from Portugal I’ve put an offer on a bit of land I stayed at Castello Branco for nine days I will be back in two weeks time . Shame you are so far away I would love to meet up and have a coffee and maybe some lunch on me of course anyway take care can’t wait to see your new adventures.
