Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

  1. Happy Birthday Bea! Remember 33 is today's 23 now. And it's coming along fantastically.. Great job guys!!! My feline crew (Leo, Stella and Misty Kitten) meow hello to Gingy and Fernando..

  2. The bed looks great! I saw an amazing design + use of space in a Parisian apartment owned by a Japanese woman. Instead of an end table, she would have constructed a table and shelf the length of the bed. There also would have been cubbies to open up on the top of the table for storage of blankets and other items below. Just a thought.

  3. 3:33 Could that be Echium? It grows very fast and resembles that when young. It can take over an area very quickly, and eventually becomes a woody shrub. It also attracts bees. Still, I can't be sure that's what it is.

  4. Happy Birthday Bee! I’m glad you had a good day off! Can’t wait for you to get your rail up so you can spend your first night in your new bedroom! Plus I can quit having heart attacks that Theo is going to fall off the edge! I liked the bowed wrought iron rail someone mentioned – will give you a little more room. Have you also seen the clear glass or lucite railing with wood posts – beautiful and you can see through it and still be safe! So many options! Can’t wait to see what you do!

  5. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BEA! I'm so glad you took a day off, took a day trip and had some FUN!I have watched the latest video twice already! I loved the trip to the city to get goat supplies and then watching you feed the goats! Do they let you pet them yet? Also loved the sequence on getting the new bed frame ready. The oil really brings out the beauty of the wood grains! Won/t be too long and you will be sleeping up there> It is so nice to be able to comment now. My nephew helped me set it up, i am NOT skilled in technology!

  6. Your videos are so comforting. I’ve been watching for several years now. Thank you for spreading such positivity and warmth. These vlogs are a perfect way to wind down and end my day.
