Prince Harry and Meghan have renewed their lease on Frogmore Cottage, their home before they left the UK.
The royal residences belonging to the British monarchy are rather impressive and they don’t come cheap, but do the royal family have to pay rent?
Working royals are usually given premises to live in by the Queen which will not require any payment from the occupier. For example, Prince William and Kate Middleton stay in Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace but it is reported that their positions as senior royals allow them to have this rent-free.

Your photo is of Frogmore HOUSE not Cottage. Frogmore House is stunning & is used by the Queen for entertaining visiting dignitaries, Royals from other countries & for hosting huge VIP events. It is the property the Markle woman THOUGHT she was getting. Frogmore Cottage is very much smaller & was split into staff quarters for those working at Windsor Castle. Renovations were done to convert to just one family home. Must have been a real shock when the gold-digger discovered her mistake, lol.
