Starting December 19th, Kalie and Josh from ExpatsEverywhere traveled from their home in Porto, Portugal for an adventure across Europe. It marked the first time they left the country since arriving there in October of 2020. It’s not like them to go a full year without international travel, but these are strange times and it seemed like now was the time to go. They were wrong!
The travels started off well, although not without flaw, which they’ll tell you about in the live. It ended with being stuck in Kyiv, Ukraine due to testing positive for Covid-19 while also struggling to cope with the uncertainty surrounding the Russia/Ukraine conflict and not knowing when they would test negative so they could return home.
