Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

  1. Hugelculture those branches.. Throw them in a trench, cover with soil etc and boom! garden..chicken garden, erosion protection etc..hedgerow..
perfect technique for your climate and soil quality,.

  2. It’s all turning out lovely! Don’t know how long you’ll be waiting for your counter, but if you have boards around they could be put to use temporarily and you can get to work cooking!!!

  3. The problem with the wine rack unit is I think its supposed to be a wall unit hence it being shorter than the rest and having no legs included, have alook in the ikea book again they may do a base unit version that will be deeper.

  4. You should call ahead to the 2nd store & have then save them for you til you can get there!!! Hate to waste a trip! 💕👍🏼when do you get your counter tops? AND…. What type surface did you choose???

  5. I’m so impressed with the way you always work so well together on projects. The kitchen will be amazing when finished. Mmmm, I wonder what your first meal will be 🤔. ❤️

  6. Instead of a spice rack could you have a wood side cover the same as the work top and then have a table there that lifts up and folds down- use the van life building techniques to your advantage and get extra work space when you are baking etc

  7. I love room but all my friends have allergies to it love the way your kitchen is shaping up your little house is so darn cute great job to both of you😊🌻❤️👍🏼
