Our time in Ireland came to an end. On we go to Portugal, a country we’ve heard great things about. One of us is a bit more excited about our decision than the other, but that might change with time.

P.S. We still have a few Ireland videos to release yet! We felt it was important to let you all know that we’ve moved on, but we still have videos on Dublin, Cork, and Kinsale to share yet.

  1. Oh my goodness what a gorgeous place!! The tree inside is FUN too. I loved the ceiling brick work… is that because it was the original structure that's been built up? So much to say… the area looks amazing. I didn't know the breathing issue with the fireplace (Melissa) and I'm glad I can make sure and note that! 😉 I am poised to see what adventures you have and I LOVE that you are adventurous enough to pop on over to another country and check it out. Best of luck as you explore… and report back to us!

  2. Being of Irish descent, I have to say it’s one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I have family there and have visited twice. My husbands family is from Portugal and that is also an incredibly beautiful country. Make sure you have Pasteis de Nata in Belem and stop at the Ginjinha shops along the way! Salad! 🍷I can’t wait for your adventure to begin!

  3. Portugal is a great place, not as nice as Ireland of course 😊, its coincidental but we’ll be there this weekend in Lisbon, I agree that the “US” has lost its way somewhat, enjoy your travels,

  4. Did you guys win the lottery? How much does that huge place cost? It's enormous! (that's what she said). May I ask what website you used to find it? I checked short term rentals on Google Maps but didn't see anything even remotely close to what you got for a decent price that was less than what you've been paying in other countries.
