Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

  1. Heu guys! Love watching your adventures, and love the new filming stuff. Just a tip from our 10 years on a dairy farm- learning how to do a few animal first aid type duties can really help. You learn to get more confident with it each time something comes up, just like you did with your goat on this video. Next time you might feel comfortable cleaning the area, and so on. Best of luck to you all. Thanks for all you do!

  2. Look at the sky up and behind him!! Look all those chemtrails !! They are doing that shit everywhere!! Over here in Spain is the same thing!! When you see a very blue , shining sky ,they start to do those chemtrails and the sunny day become a haze day! People wake up!!

  3. Hi! Love your vlog! You've done great sofar.
Could be a good thing to
place both your water tanks in the shade and to paint them black on the outside to prevent algae. 👍🏻from Cape Town.
    growth.

  4. Poor Ginji. Margo's ear will be good in a few days. Friday the 13th is a day I do not leave my house, for real. For years starting at the age of 12 a lot of things have gone wrong, is on this day. Oh well, I enjoyed your video as always. Love you guys

  5. Hey! I don’t know if you have answered it or not before but how can you live off grid in Portugal? As far as I know it’s completely illegal. If the land is not “urbano” you can’t build anything or live there.

  6. Wow, homesteading looks so exciting, rewarding and also a lot of work. I’d love to live this way. Right now it’s not a possibility so I’m making the most of my urban backyard garden. I’ve really enjoyed watching everything grow and documenting the growth in my videos. I Love to film the bunnies and birds in action. I’m learning so much from you and other YouTubers. I hope we can learn more from each other! I wish you an abundant harvest! 🌼🌻🐝☀️🌸🌺

  7. First aid Buy a bottle of Iodine (Povidone), peroxide solution and Iodine Cream from the agricultural supplier and treat wounds. Some agricultural outlets will also supply antibiotics. Just ask xxx

  8. Making Hay Allow a section of grass to grow quite tall. Cut it in the late afternoon to ensure all the 'sugar' is in the stems. Cut and leave on the land for a few days / week to dry. Winnow into rows. Allow to dry for a week. Tip the rows over to dry the underside. Run the fork down the row to gather into heaps at the end of the row. Pack into a hay stakc balanced on wood pallets about 20-30cm off the ground. Dont cover. If you lay the grass in the same direction you will create a waterproof run-off. Free goat food!

  9. Just a quick disclaimer: when you hold goats or basically any animal by the horns, do it as close to the head as possible. You have way better control and it's also more comfortable for the goat and in some cases you can hurt the goat pretty badly when you hold them to far on the ends…
    Keep up the great work!🥰

  10. Your loquat tree might fruit better every other year. If it fruits heavily one year it needs some recovery time. It’s called biennial bearing. Nothing wrong with your tree. 👍🏼

  11. I don't know how you 1 do it ' every video is better than the last on~ There are so many things I enjoyed in this one – the way we got to see your land as The was riding the tractor and mowing. Seeing the close ups of the goats was fun~ I couldn't believe how tall the grass had grown~ I loved how Fernando made himself at home in the dry pool! You have a beautiful view of your property and the mountains in the distance from your pool! Your gardens continue to do very well Bea1 And Bea ' you are sooooo brave going in that COLD water! Is that going to be a place for fires Theo? I can/t believe how much Ricky has dug! I hope Ginny'Bear is feeling better by now! See you doon!

  12. Even though your well water may be clear storing in ibc's can cause problems if the temp is hitting over 20° maybe research legionella to give you some guidance. Keep up the great work!

  13. The wildflowers are beautiful! The goats surely like free-ranging. I understand fire-hardening. Actually, it 8s best to leave the patch of flowers away from your house!
