  1. Evicting tenants is a super complicated and long process that can take years in Italy. There was a bad trend of people renting a place and then stopping paying rent a couple months in and then it would take the landlord 2+ years to evict them.

  2. So I guess if you don’t have a contract or aren’t a salaried employee it must be really difficult finding a legit rental company… that’s so weird, I think apart from low income housing, where you need to prove your income, in the US your potential landlord wouldn’t ask you how much money you make. At least, not where I live 😅 maybe things are different in actual metropolitan areas.
