Don't use those galvanise sheets on your roof, it will cause condensation in the winter. You will have water dripping onto your water proof barrier . Use one with insulation and it will always be dry. God bless you guys.

Don't forget to cut the trees behind the house, they are too close and it's very dangerous because of the fires. Beautiful but dangerous.

Well done on your progress so far. I’m surprised in a way that you didn’t go with the sandwich roof panels that have insulation built in. But glad you know what you want for the long term.

Technically very correct to built the ground floor elevated in relation to the soil…otherwise the house always get humidity from underneath … unfortunately the majority of houses built in Portugal from some decades ago have the foundations directly over the ground and I believe even today some people build that way….in order to cut costs……
