Beijinos e abraços,
Carissa, Iwan, Frankie & Albi
Carissa, Iwan & Frankie decided one night over a bottle of wine that moving from North Wales to Portugal would be a good idea. Within a month they were on the road to Portugal to find the perfect piece of land to call their new home. We picked up Albi the cat along the way. Subscribe to follow our journey as we turn an old stone barn into our home, and learn the ropes of looking after a piece of land to make an abundant garden and one day, our very own winery.

Hello /you dont have to knock down the water pool/use cement-resin in amixture to cover the cracks /after paint it blue /and after cover it with 2-3 coats of clear liquid resin=and you will have a nice swim pool/resin is a bit expensive but it the end you will have earn money and time .good luck.
Thanks for sharing, things are looking Fantastic, Well Done
Love and Rainbows
What happened with Frankie???
ProjectKamp on Youtube had a team empty & clean their well & were very happy with the result. Don't know where they are in portugal though.
You should be able to properly seal that tank with 2-3 coats of shower sealant. And it wil make the pool a nice blue.
So Great Dear
Lots of work and prep. Hope your pool holds up. Hope your dog is feeling better. Enjoy your time with friends.
Can you not put a pool liner in your tank for now.?? Will you shade cloth that water tank to help with evaporation.? Glad Frankie is ok..
Aww, Frankie, hope you're feeling much better by now, Mum and Dad love you snd Albi and João abd the chikkies very much. Nice work there, Ewan & Carissa.
Project kamp used a well drilling company. It was quite a mess. Very dangerous to attempt yourself.
How about using it as a veg garden so Clarissa can save her back!
Enjoy your visit and have some good relaxation time!!!
Have a look at barley straw to clear the well water. A bit of pond-safe black dye will also help control algal growth.
I was late watching tonights video, ive been busy watching the champo's league final. I LOVED IT.
Sorry Iwan. lol
Our Portuguese homestead Lea and Martyn’s drained there well so may be able to advise
Lovely video again this week guys❤️❤️
Loving the eye make-up Iwan 😁🤣
Maybe you should wear a hat to protect from the sun?
🌟👍💐
Agree to clean out the well in the Autumn! Empty, scoop out the years of mud and detreitus which may also unclog what ever/where ever the water is coming from? Have a look at some of Andy's vlogs in the Algarve, his well was semi collapsed, so had to empty it and have it rebuilt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mm1ATMjfHAM
By the way, Ken (and Gina) used a blue paint which, if I remember correctly sealed their water tank, might be worth asking him which one he used?
Beijinhos de Lisboa 😘
The Well.. If your gonna fish all the wildlife out. I suggest using liquicor 5.25% 5 gal. half in the well save half for a sprayer w/water. your suit hat and kneckercheifs will all be crispy white. And you will get all the bird poop out of there. cheers
just use weber waterproof cement it works for years
Poor Frankie those grass seeds are not nice. Can I ask how much was the Vets as I keep hearing how cheap they are over there. It would be £40 just to have the Vet look at a dog here and then alot more to do anything
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 love you guys, maybe you can make the veranda from old brences wood from the forest.
You folks should consider building a plunge pool for the ☀️ summer
I would drain your well, get someone to cut out the brush and if possible dig all the muck off the bottom.
If you want to keep a clear well you will need the cover it and bleach shock it occasionally.
I've had a well all my life.
Great video!
