We're thrilled! HUGE milestone – the wood burner is installed in our Self-Built Home🔥🔥✔️

We’re finally getting some heat in the house, and it’s been a great team effort. For us, this marks the start of a new phase in our Self-Build Home. Now that our basic needs are covered, we can start making this place home soon.

  1. HELLO SINDY & DAN…YES! A WOODSTOVE!…WUNDERBAR!…AND HOW GREAT TO LOOK OUT YOUR WINDOW OR DOOR & SEE COWS GRAZING ON THE LAND…CAN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THAT…LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT VIDEOS…ALL THE BEST, BLESSINGS…;)

  2. Stove looks awesome! can i just say don't take a sales man as a professional?… from my experience and this might sound like critisim! but not intended to be! just trying to save you upset later down the line!.. big problem with log burners is creosote being created in the Flu! this happens in single lines flu's that are outside, and happens as all moisture from the fire, hits the cold metal and condensates on the flu walls, can run back down the flu! and soon black puddles in and around the stove! twin walled flu outside stop this from happening, and should burn cleaner.. fire look awesome!.. as does the build.. great work guys..

  3. Congrats on having much needed heat in your house… I noticed you used a store bought fire starter… Try using pine cones… ones that are not rotted and open. They are the best fire starters and free.

  4. The new stove is so nice, glad you were able to get the fire going. Now you have a warm place to cozy in. You two are very adaptable people and do make anything work. Great to see this peek into your works.
