Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

Pray that you will fully recover from the illness. Watch out for long term symptoms. Build a guard rail on the loft space so that you will both be safe from a tumble out of bed upon waking up.

You should cantilever a bookcase/rail off the loft by the bed. It would provide lots of storage for you.
I've had it going on three weeks and had Theo symptoms no fever tho. My eyes are still hurting
I'm really looking forward to seeing how you'll install the cabinets against the bumpy wall. I have no doubt it will be great but suspect it will be a challenge. This is one of the most fascinating builds I've seen 👏 and I love how you keep coming up with beautiful ideas. I still am gobsmacked by that stunning front door!

Watching you build out the barn for a year the one thing that has been on my mind consistently was your ladder/stairs to your bed. Would something that lays flat against the wall when not in use but pull out and sturdy when you need it work?
Made of wood and has a wooden hook in the back to hold it against the wall and a similar one facing the opposite direction the hold it out.
I think stones were placed to stop soil erosion filling up the well.

So glad you’re getting over Covid feeling so much better. Things are looking so nice. There are minerals and all kinds of things at a farm store for medications for goats. Since I’m in the states I can’t tell you what to get there.
Do goats eat them oranges that would be a lovely treat for them
