  1. Hello Nick and Sarah thanks for sharing your adventures in portugal. About tile merchants laughing at you, could it be them gettting a bit nervous or uncomfortable b/c they don't have the tiles you neeed. Thanks again, all the best.

  2. 3. What a pain in the arse about the tiles, but its nice that you've just given yourself another job with the other roof hehehehehe That grill looks amazing – just for comparison (you're probably not interested but i am still shocked and need counselling LOL) we bought 2 portions of chips and 4 battered sausages last week, it cost us £14.95. What is this world coming too!!!!

  4. Its not like you can just pop down the road each time you need somthing so it must have been a bit gutting to find the tiles were an issue when you thought you had it sorted. looks like you found a solution in the end.

I was a bit disapointed as I had expected a whole video with Allo Allo quotes after the Mistaker to Makar title.

Have you managed to get more tools over from the UK?

  5. Beautiful as always enjoy watching your videos. But you and Miss Sarah look tired. So much to do!… Amazing. Nick cna you tell me your sister channel so i keep up it them. Thank you enjoy week. Um Abraço.

  6. Hello! On my Portuguese house, the tiles like yours are crossed between each row, and not aligned like you did on the ground, maybe that's the problem… Congratulations on your 10k subscriptions!

  7. what happened on the whole of the Portuguese territory so that an incredible number of roofs have been redone for 10/15 years? even on very old uninhabited houses we often see roofs that seem to have been redone?

  8. Apart from being jealous of the food price at your local restaurant, I am impressed with your solution for the roof tile ‘mistake’. They will both look great in the end. Looking forward to future vids. And great to see your sister and her hubby starting their renovation journey too.

  9. NICK & SARAH…CAN HARDLY WAIT TO SEE THE TILES GO ON YOUR QUINTA & RUIN, ETC. …YOU TWO ARE SO DARN CUTE!…AND THAT MEAL LOOKED SCRUMPTIOUS…ALL THE BEST…;)

  10. Whew…I've got to admit that you tuckered me out a lil watching you swing that strimmer around all day. I feel a bit guilty for running around my 2.5 acres with a zero turn and a cold beverage. Kudos to you for being so diligent! How often do you trim the land? As soon as Sarah commented on your hair, I thought….dye it blonde and you could almost pull off the Billy Idol look! LOL. Awesome video…keep up the great work.

  11. Great bids, Nick / Hazel. As said by other posters, other YouTubers have had similar tile issues. Perhaps forming a co-operative of knowledge between you guys would be useful? Keep the faith and Happy Daze!

  12. Bro don't they have lawn mowers in Portugal?
A little tractor with a brush hog? Do you know what I mean? Because what you call a strimmer we call a weedeater

  13. To save time and energy, you need to get yourself one of those John Deere stand-on mower. You can get one for 10 thousand USD. Oops, I guess that’s the price for the land.
