Hi, please be careful what bamboo species you want to plant, some can be almost impossible to keep in check, both in height and width. If you are not careful the plant can overgrow your entire land. Sorry if I make typos, English is not my native tongue. Thanks for your vlog! Albert

Very good idea to try the "swale" method.. it's such a bummer that your well is still dry even after some rain. I have watch the "The Dutch farmer" set up his new place in Portugal and the first thing he did was putting up the swales and a pond after he examined this new property.. it's such a beautiful project.. Hi,hopefully you get better sir, about your thoughts and ideas, you guys are brilliant, smart choices a boutique what you gonna grown in your land ,only one thing, a bout the bamboo you have to be careful where you will grow it ,because I saw at the of Chanel ( The New bys) ,they are in Portugal too, they had bamboo in there land and they wear suffering to get rid of it, it concred the land so fast. The swales are good don't be frightened of moving any of the fruit trees or plants as they are still young enough and cope better when moved at an early stage in there life,and if your having help with a machine when digging the swales take advantage and dig new holes or help to move the plants as you go .
