What is the difference between a UAE residency visa and an entry permit? Find out how to get a residency visa for living in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and how long they are valid for and compare it to entry permits, which certain nationalities need to visit the UAE. Entry permits include: tourist visas and visit visas.
Some nationalities don’t need to apply for an entry permit to visit the UAE. Instead they get a free visa on arrival. If you hold a passport for any of the below countries/territories, you can avail a ‘visa on arrival’:

90 Days: Argentina, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Kiribati, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, The Black Mountain, Nauru, The Netherlands, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Poland , Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Uruguay.
