What we did with our grape harvest! Clearing land, preparing for building on our homestead.

Making jelly from our grapes. It’s something I have never done before and had no idea whether it would work. It was a lot of work but really enjoyed the process of making the jelly. We only have a small harvest, so what to do with our grapes, this time we enjoyed making jelly! It is a nice way to preserve a small grape harvest.

I take you through the process of making the jelly and hope to inspire you.

Also we continued on clearing the land to prepare it for building. We had some last few things that needed to be done before we can actually build.
We are really looking forward to start creating on our land. Also we know there is still a lot of clearing that also needs to be done. But everything on its own time! Loving the life off grid ❤️

Thank you for supporting us by your encouragements and wonderful tips and advices 🥰

  1. Eucalyptus trees leaf have a toxin in it. So when the leafs falls off it inhibit any growth from different seeds except eucalyptus. We bought a 3 hectare eucalyptus forest. Older than 150 years. There was a fire and that made it easy to see our land and to know which trees need to be cut down. Unfortunately we wasted a lot of money on seeds. We had to dig from the river better ground just to start a veggies patch.
Only now after 2 years the ground is starting to heal itself. Enjoy building and live life with joy
