I did my passport in February and managed to get my passport mid march. I did it online, it was easy and straight forward. Took my photo on my phone sent them the money and it jt within weeks of doing it. As soon as I got mine j heard of many people are panicking about not getting there passports.

I had mine renewed and it took just 16 days from sitting in a photo booth in Sainsbury's, which uploaded the photo and gave me a code, to using the online renewal web page, paying the money. then it found the photo from the code, job done. I sent my old PP off the following day and a new one arrived 16 days later, followed by the returned old one. This was in the last 4 weeks. Why people leave getting a new one or renewing an expired one to just a month before the main holiday season starts I don't know. A little forward planning would make all the difference.

We heading to Majorca end of june, my hubby applied for his passport on 15th April, and arrived on 6th May only took 3 wks xx

We live in the UK and my Wife has been waiting over three months and still waiting dozens of calls it's being processed they say and we leave for Cyprus for a wedding on June the first.

Got my passport renewed and delivered to me within 4 weeks to my home in Canada. That's after I accidentally damaged my passport beyond use and had to do a phone interview with one of their investigators. Not bad. Perhaps I was lucky.

We are not even going to Spain we are going to visit family in the Balkans we are waiting for my sons passport it's changing from a child to an adult passport we have not booked flights for mid August yet but we are worried because the cost that time of year will go up and be very expensive as there are limited flights to Kosovo that go direct

Great advise, but what happens when like me you applied months ago and are still waiting for your new passport. Anytime I call the passport office the person I speak is unable or unwilling to help. Have been passed from one person to another only to get a polite but useless palm off.

Applied for my renewal passport on 18 April. Sent my old passport off on 19th April and had an e mail yesterday (7 May) advising that my new passport had been printed and would be dispatched shortly

🤨 Truth of the matter is the government's are not in the governments are not in touch with what's going on in the will to die and are very good with excuses and excuses and try to plan the public as if it's all there public is if it's all their fault and nothing to do with the passport office it's the possible office or even them Some people have been down to wait for 3 months to 6 months to get a new passport The truth of the matter is the government's more interested in more interested in getting passports for illegal immigrants and also viyesterday immigrants are also visas for entry into the uk and other known countries The government needs to do a proper investigation into these problems that are caused by into these problems that are caused by them and not the public🤨

You say your passport must have less than 10 years validity.
Surely if you receive a new lassport, then it does have 10 years validity?

My father passport expired 50 year ago now can we renewal.

25 days min?!!!🤣 when we put in to renew our children's it said 3 weeks!
2nd Feb we did theirs online for Easter. Had to cancel the holiday lost £500 to rebook Re did the holiday for June still no sign of the passports! Looks like I'm going to loose the rest.
Constantly put through to other apartments, sat on the phone each time for 2-3 hrs then cut off.
2 children applications to different passport offices both admitted within minutes of each other. Why?

Ive been waiting to get my passport renewed since 2001.. work pressures you see ..lol. I have been told of a 10 week wait on average at the moment but cant wait to try out those beach bars…🌞🌞🌞🌞

I’ve just done renewal’s on 2 passports they where here within 2 weeks and did 1 for my nephew that only took 4 weeks hope that helps love xx

Submitted my new passport application in march and I’m still waiting – I go to Palma nova in June 😳

Had this problem many years ago! We simply extended the passport in the crown post office network for an extra year, we've left the EU so maybe we could reissue bfps British Visitors passports that lasted for a year, we issued thousands a day throughout the summer. But it's those obscene words again greed and money.

Remember you can always travel to your nearest passport office to collect your passport personally. I may be more expensive but at least you have it sooner.
