I flew with TAP Air Portugal in their A330-900neo from San Francisco to Lisbon in early June. It was my first time flying with TAP and many had warned me that they didn’t have a good reputation.

At San Francisco, there was no lounge open at the international terminal. I visited an empty ghost lounge prior to boarding. Onboard TAP, I explored the seat products in both Business and Economy Class. The plane was new and the cabin was fresh. The pilots gave me a great welcome and explained the features of A330neo.

After take-off, drinks and dinner were served. I then slept for 4 hours in the new Business Class seat. The seat, although narrow, is long enough for my height (6’1”). After sunrise, passengers were greeted to a scenic arrival into Lisbon International. Most of the passengers were in transit through Lisbon.

At the end of the video, I gave my remarks on flying TAP. I think TAP has some of the best airfares for Trans-Atlantic, if you purchase in advance. Therefore, one of the cheapest full-service airlines in both Economy and Business Class.
