I love the woman who was joking about the pizza ban. I would have laughed my ass off if I over heard that conversation. Also, just the diarrhea that comes out of some people's mouth is utterly astonishing. It literally makes my brain hurt. The "American numbers" lady has an amazing laughter and a great attitude.

It's been over ten years, but I remember I knew some people from ***mostly white (and I'm white) country that is not America that I will keep secret for my privacy*** through some other people who I felt unsafe around and so I was stressed about how we could even be friends. I was so much younger. Maybe, that's partially why this felt harder.

I one day acted like I didn't expect the people from another country and me to have some of the same common slang. I just couldn't handle things, so it was easier to make myself look nerdier than I am, just a dumb American. We all eventually stopped talking because the situation wasn't great to begin with. That's cryptic, but I do have some sense of wanting privacy as well as wanting to get this out. I wish I had been more myself in that situation and had not reacted the way I did to being overly stressed.
