A real estate broker specializing in international sales says Americans are moving because they can work remotely, to have more space and for a better work-life balance. One woman from Georgia decided to make the move because she was fed up with the cost of living in the states. The top destinations Americans are moving to are Greece, Italy and France.

Comparing an apartment in the bustling metropolis of NYC to rural towns in Europe seems a little disingenuous. I understand moving for healthcare reasons but the cost of living in European cities is high in its own right. A house in rural America would have afforded them similar financial relief?

Everybody is coming over here to have the “American Dream” when we’re in a nightmare due to gun violence, racism, human rights/healthcare and politics. I know a lot of people who get fed up with it and just left the whole country. I was born in Los Angeles and nowhere is this issue more prevalent than here. Everyone comes to this country and it honestly doesn’t feel like home anymore plus the whole world is desperately overpopulated. Our economy is in the trash and we can’t get OUR homeless natives off the streets, yet we have resources for others. It’s just so tiring and sad. Another planet would suffice. I’m sick of everything.
