Amon – have you been getting a good return from your International ETFs over the last4-5 years? I'm wondering what % of my portfolio to allocate to international stocks? I'm considering SCHY because of its 4% dividend yield and outperformance of VXUS since inception. The P/E of SCHY is around 11 while USA S&P500 is 18. Thanks

We have some money set aside and recently bought land in the Azores where we would like to retire in about 2 to 3 years. My question is: is it too late for us to invest? we are 56, 57yo.

GOOGL does not pay dividends. Therefore, I'm not interested. The stock market has been trending downwards for over 1 year. Glance at DIA, SPY, QQQ, IWM … these stocks measure the stock market. In the past 1 year, these stocks are down from 7%-18% … buying the dip or buying the 52 week low is not always beneficial in a bear market. Meaning most stocks hit the 52 week low and create a lower 52 week low. Most stocks are not pulling up after hitting the bottom. Simply put, if you're not investing in dividend stocks … you're losing. Diversify your stock portfolio. Don't rely on meme stocks. That's just my experienced opinion.

Very wise advice. I have little choice but to hold. Dividend income to survive. Medically Retired. Wanting to add to my Superannuation (like your 401k) but we are restricted in Australia to limited yearly contribution amounts (stops very wealthy finding a tax free haven). So I have to fight the anxiety and panicking. A long bear market would truly set back my pension plan goals as unwise to sell and crystallize losses. Not much spare cash sadly, but those that do are the winners in a market crash who buy at big discounts. Beware of value traps. I've been stung before like this.

Thank you for everything you do! You make it SO easy to understand how to invest. I’ve been a huge Dave Ramsey fan for years but he just says do your research on how to invest. Try as I might I couldn’t make heads or tails out of exactly how to do that. I’ve also had two finacial advisors take me for a ride and I’m determined to figure it out myself. Your videos are so specific and it’s really helpful to have you open up your portfolios and walk us step by step through the process of even knowing where the prospectus is and how to read it. I watch every video you create and I’m learning so much! 😍
