This video highlights the current state of alert for wildfires in Portugal. Many of these fires have been started by arsonists, which is distressing to learn. If you are traveling in mainland Portugal, Porto, Lisbon, and the Algarve all seem to be having issues with fires.

Not good news; we are flying to Porto in a few days and then eventually heading south. Ironically, in past years we have had a lot of wildfires where I live (western Canada), but this year has been much better so far with milder weather.
