You probably think that the future is a cold, mechanical, and emotionless place because so many fiction movies and games impose these ideas on your mind. Is it really tho? Does the future have to be dark?
Compare the world you live in right now to the world in the 1990s. Is it darker and scarier than in the 1990s? No!
In the 2020s, we are now surrounded by the technology we couldn’t even imagine in the 90s. So many things have changed since then.
In the 1990s, people played games via cartridge games or CDs. They called each other from landlines, and when they were out, they used answering machines to collect their messages. They went out to shop, and when they wanted to watch something, they either went to a theater or rented the movie they wanted to watch. There were places to rent movies, can you imagine!
But today, people can do anything by just using their smartphones. They can play games and watch a movie. They can order groceries, study, and work without even leaving the house. These all were just utopic in the 1990s.
And now, think of the most utopic things for the 2020s. Are you thinking about the possibility of marrying a robot? Gene-editing? Maybe colonization on Mars? Or flying cars? Will we have all these things in our daily lives when 2050 comes? Let’s see!

Very basic video on the future, could have made it more interesting. Lacking a lot of things people don't know about. The Hyperloop project is dead, so not sure how in the future we will have this technology…
