Climate change BS talking, this kind of flooding happens very frequently since I was kid.
To add context this area is a victim of floods almost every year, there is plans to reduce the impact of this floods whit more then 30 years.
The government doesn't have an interest to fix this, as usually they are going to give kiss's and empty promises to the victims.
To add salt to the injury the majority of the securities companies are avoiding to pay the water damages.
This is common in Portugal there is no accountability.
Some years back there was a big fire how destroyed 30 to 40 houses the government promised to help the families rebuild the homes, well they made a big memorial before rebuilding/fixing the 1st home.
I don't think they even helped whit the materials so far think this fire was like 6 years ago.
