Working on tasks in the summer months! Our veranda has work that needs completing on it – a fairly small job to be finished but one that has made a massive difference. We also visit another lovely praia fluvial (river beach) to cool off, as well as Theo making big changes to the goat enclosure.

Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

  1. He never mentions it, but I guess when Bee's feeling under the weather Theo's just taking over with the videos to give her some time and some space. He's a champion in my eyes. Loving the river beach series!

  2. coming to Alberta, must see is Banff and Lake Louise BC coast is also nice if you want to be near the Pacific Ocean but very congested in most popular places.

  3. It would be nice if they had it lit up at night for the nearby neighbors. There are no life savers at the places I have seen the past two visits. It is such a beautiful place there. You picked a lovely spot. And your home is darling. So much work has paid off, and you did not give up in spite of seeming set backs. I respect your energy and ability to know how to resolve every issue that comes up. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Some advice friends. If you go to BC Hot spots..Kelowna on the lake and Vancouver coast..Vancouver Island! Check out Glow for dinner in Victoria.. Mid Island (Cowichan Valley/Wine country…lots of quaint bays. Stay as far away from Portland as possible.

  5. I have watched few of your videos. Not the most Beautiul place in the world. But why on earth do you call it a farm? it looks like poor scrub land full of rubbish. I full understand that services have to be laid to the barn, which is lovely by they way. and i cant wait to see it finished.

  6. Never run a tow rope over the bucket in this way. The towing point is positioned above the rear axle with the risk of the tractor overturning.
If you have to pull, always secure below the pivot point of the axle.
    Also consider a roll bar.

  7. If you can, go to The Enchanted Forest near Revelstoke BC, Canada. It's definitely whimsical! If you're going to be anywhere near Drumheller in Alberta, make sure to check out Orkney Viewpoint. It doesn't look like its going to be much driving up, but the perspective of the valley is amazing!

  8. Hi guys,
You mentioned that you're looking for things to do while in the states. If you find yourselves in the Spokane WA / Coeur d'Alene ID area you can look us up and have a quiet place to land for a day or three. We're in Liberty Lake WA and would love to have you.
Best to you on your adventure, Gerrie & Dean

  9. Theo I hope you see this coment. You need to be much more careful with the way pull weight with that tractor. It will lift the front weels and depending on the angle may fall to the side!! Keep strong and safe buddy!!

  10. Hello! I just discovered you while researching wood fired bathtubs. I love the one you did with the claw foot and have 1 question: did you encounter a hot spot where the fire hit the tub? I'm figuring out where to place the fire ring. Thanks so much. I'll be subscribing to watch your newer adventures.

  11. According to David Sedaris, an American Author living full time in the UK, he spends hours every day picking up trash along random roadsides. Seems Britts are not much diff than US citzs. They just clean out the car as they drive anywhere. The Portuguese do not share that accepted culture. Let's hope it's limited to those two countries, tho let's face it, it's not.

  12. We just came home from 2 weeks @ Waterton National Park, Alberta. Where the prairies meet the mountains. While we couldn’t get camping reservations in the park, we stayed at Crooked creek campground about 15 minutes from park. Not sure how pricey B & B or hotels r in the Park. Took 1 1/2 hour boat tour on Upper Waterton Lake which ends up in U.S., See Cameron Lake (2 trails there), Red Rock Canyon (Blackiston Falls trail). Bertha Falls trail. Weekends busy but in August it slows down. Had wonderful High Tea at Prince of Wales (reservations needed – business casual) with best scenery of mountains. Waterton Wieners is very tasty (featured on Amazing Race Canada). Area of Banff & Kananaskis is beautiful. Check out slow n easy or tougher white water rafting. Total blast! The bus ride to get there made me somewhat queasy. Road to the Sun was closed. Glacier National Park in U.S. gorgeous. Enjoy trip 🇨🇦❤️

  13. Hope Bea is ok, but sometimes it would be nice for you guys to
Update your subscriber’s on the situation with the channel going forward, as we enjoy to watch this channel when you are both present .

  14. If you do a Rv in the rockies you must get a riverside pitch at Ramparts creek campground. Every pitch has a fire pit and there are unlimited logs. Stunning at dusk along side the river.

  15. I would like to suggest that you see the Olympic National Forest in Washington state. I live in Port Angeles and the scenery here is just beautiful. Our little town has some lovely shops along with farmers market on Saturdays. I think you would really enjoy seeing the sights! I hope you have a wonderful journey! ❤🙏❤

  16. I am from Montana. You MUST go to Glacier Park and take the Going to the Sun Highway. A must see. Is SO beautiful. Also the Fort Peck dam. It’s the largest filled Earth dam in the world. Also Yellowstone Park. May need to ask a head of time about road conditions since due to flooding a few roads were washed out. You need to go over the Beartooth Pass. It’s the most beautiful way to get into the Park. Plan to spend 2 to 3 days in the Park to see everything. Just South of Yellowstone is the Grand Teton National Park. If you have time because it’s close, try to go to South Dakota and see Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Monument. Very worth it. Also Deadwood, South Dakota is right there. A lot of history of the Wild West and gambling cowboys. Also take in the bus ride to the cemetery Mt Moriah. There is a moonshine store there. They have these beautiful candles that contain real fruit in them. Very unique. Bee, I think you would like them. On the way to South Dakota, in Montana is the Little Bighorn Battlefield. It was the last time Indians won a battle and was the beginning of the end for their way of life. Lots of history and original artifacts. If you like that kind of thing.
