You have a lot of Kiawe trees. You can cook a lot of Kalua pig, the only thing you are missing is the banana tree.
If you leave the grass there you have not removed the fuel if there is a fire? Just asking.
You are such a beautful family bless you an have a loverly christmas🥰🥰🥰
Nice work guy's, your certainly getting your monies worth out off the string trimmer and weed eater !! Take care and God bless 🙏🎅💚🇬🇧…..Simon
Use a steel cable in stead of a Nylon. Makes it a lot easier
HELLO! TRACTOR COMPANY……PLEASE SPONSOR THESE GUYS AND GIFT THEM A sit down riding TRACTOR! Please!
looks nice and clean
Lots of work living in the desert. It's never ending. Good job y'all
you guys need a riding lawnmower or a ranch tractor and a chain saw for such monumental jobs.
full respect for avoiding the debt
Enjoyed this week's video! Music selection, not so much. The up and down, quiet and loud was a little distracting.
A brush hog would be a really BIG help to y’all. Could you work out a sponsorship deal with someone? What is it you say: Work smarter, not harder? 🌷
chop and drop not the best in sandy soil. To build soil in sandy ground try mowing and wind row. one year to the rt next year to the left. It's a lot more work that's for sure.
👍👍👍👍👍👌great work , great teamwork great video ,great result high quality video production, every element covered, and the documentation, of progress astounding
Stupid question…Why don't you use a lawn mower? Wouldn't it be much faster and easier?!
Now that is a shirt idea.
Let's get this crap done! Ready? Go!
It fit my mood exactly as I am trying to wake up after working lastnight – ugh.
I know yall sleep good after all that hard work. Great video.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great work yall. Extra pat on the back for Ashley. I know everybody helped as they could or were allowed. Time to shovel snow???
I see a riding lawn mower or mini tractor in your future.
Ok who your visitors we gonna find out who they are
Wow – you really need to invest in a ride on slasher/mower………😯😯
👍❤️🇦🇺
Wait…do you guys get snakes on the property?
So crazy , 2 different worlds, I have to clear mine to burn so I don't freeze, sh!t this time a year is burn it all , if it's not wet enough to light 🤦🤣😂💯🍻✌️
You could sure use a rider mower..1 day you will.
I’m a contributing member of your small but very acolm usher, toward you must be told otherwise.
It’s time for you to get that metal out of your nose. It’s not who you are
You need a tractor brush hog. Wish I was rich, I’d send you one. Think you guys are just the best. Anyone out there rich? Send them a tractor brush hog.
I imagine getting that grass down cuts down on mice. Where there are mice, comes snakes.
Why do you not get a riding lawn mower to cut down so much grass?
IMPRESSIVE !!! Lots of hard work and hopefully Zero wildfires will ever approach your area! Thanks for sharing!
In hindsight or looking forward do you think you would rent a brush hog for the day rather than doing it all by hand, it looks like pretty flat and unencumbered land. I just got on my property and looking to do something similar with the chop and drop and think the only way that I can do it is with a brush hog because it's mostly sage/scrub brush, a string trimmer won't work. I am hoping to then plant cover crops in the spring to try get some soil to start building, the sand content of our dirt is pretty outrageous. It's going to be a serious effort and journey.

Weed whacker strap: suggestion – use an old belt or a luggage tie belt. Tie a knot at one end, leaving about 6-9 inches of loose end and thread the "belt" through the hole where the original belt was. Loop the free end over your shoulder and back to the knotted end. Tie a knot (reef is best) using the free and loose ends. You can also do this with strips of fabric like holey jeans cut up in thin strips, leather shoelaces tied end to end, etc. It will at least save your back muscles from aching hot for hours.
There has been so many things you could do with your own tractor. Used attachment are reasonable, field mower, or shredder and they run with the power takeoff from the tractor. We got a new John Deere in 1985 but all our attachments were picked up used.
Where can I get a scarf like yours? Love the colors.
Would renting a slasher for a day 2 or 3 times a year would be worth it?
howdy neighbors, thought i would mention that there is a slightly larger chipper at a home that had a yard sale on east end of treasure for only 75$ if by chance you're looking.
I'm Tracy I heard of your channel some time ago and caught part of a collab you did (net bags) but never actually watched your channel until today, I heard about your dog a couple months ago, very sorry for your loss he would bounce along chasing me as I drive by always making me LOL.. I hope my mentioning that isn't inappropriate. i enjoyed the video and subscribed to your channel. your place is really looking awesome. looking forward to what's next for you, and hopefully maybe i can be of some help on something in the future.
God Bless, and thanks for sharing your awesome videos.
Tracy.
Get a used riding lawn mower with a pull behing trailer. Ypu can put limbs and exc in trailer. Works great for flat land 3.6 ac. here.
Your yardwork is so much different now with those berms and swales. When I used to do my tree trimming, if I could not mow under the tree standing straight up, the branches that touched me got trimmed. If I could not mow around the base, all that stuff got chopped or removed. It made the yard manageable for 1 person to mow in an afternoon. Nowhere near 7 acres. But I am in a way different climate(Oklahoma) so water not much of an issue here. We have Red Dirt, which is just a lot of iron in the soil, and a good bunch of clay.
Working, working. You all accomplish so much. That might be boring work but so important. Hope you and your friends had a great time. See you next time.
A LAWN MOWER AT LEAST. U be surprise, Anything over 2 acres is a must.
Wish I had the $$$$ to give you for a riding lawnmower.
Awsome you bought a dr trimmer like I suggested.
Y'all need to invest in a bush hog mower/attachment. Btw I love watching your dedication, and thank you for sharing it with me.
“We are all exhausted from watching y’all work so hard. Admirable though. I know you explained that y’all were not going into debt for a tractor but, it would be your best investment. It will haul, pull, mow, dig, plow. From experience, this kind of manual labor will make you old before your time. Your bodies will wear out. You will pay for it physically in the end. Plus, the time you would free up for other projects.
If only there were a “get these hard working people a tractor fund! I know I’d throw a few bucks your way. Years ago we bought a used Kubota with bucket and backend loader, used! When I saw what it could be used for, I didn’t mind those payments at all. Didn’t realize how many things it could help us with on our seven acres. If we ever get divorced, I get the tractor. 44yrs .
Oh my gosh that was alot of work . I love your scarfs , and the one you wore on your head…., you have such a pretty white teeth too ….ha ha you hippie ! I love that look tho …..Your children and hubbie are so cool and I love you all……
Could you halter your goats and stake them to clean up the grasses and weeds? The ability of goats to clear areas is amazing! Not sure what the coyote situation is in your area. You guys are amazing!!
