Middle class is dying on rapid pace, people cant afford homes in large parts of country. Our life expectancy is plummetting.

Our manufacturing has been decimated and sent abroad. Large parts of our economy are based on services that provide little to no real value (fast food, Wall Street).

To say that we have freedom is a joke, yes you have freedom if you are a millionaire, if you are middle class chances you are one health issue away from bankruptcy.

And yes we are leaders in some technologies, but we are literally non existent in others, best examples are Batteries (China, Japan, Korea), Solar(China), advance networking and 5G (China), ship building (China, Korea and Japan).

In area of infrastructure, US is now on third world level and it is getting worse, we didn't do anything since 1980. Our power grid is a joke. West of country is facing record drought and things will just get worse, no plan to fix it. Increasing number of cities not have drinkable water, see Flint Michigan and Jackson Mississippi.

Unless we finally start fixing US, China has very good cards compared to us.

And for those who mention Chinese debt bubble, great lets look at our debt bubbles => National debt is spiraling out of control, Student debt bubble, realestate bubble, consumer credit bubble, baby boomers are retiring and Social security is running out of money.

Inner cities are drowning in crime, homless and fentanyl. Schools are falling, college is unaffordable.

But hey we have freedom, what ever that means today.

45:00 the US already uses the tax code to set national OKRs. Encourages investment, entrepreneurship, borrowing money and discourages high income, personal consumption, etc. I’d much prefer pay a tax than be disappeared. 😂
