Rules of Being a Guest –

1. You MUST rent or provide your own form of transportation. The Vacation Villa is 100% car dependent. Yes it’s an easy drive to the city centre, Obidos Castle, Nazare, Foz, etc…only there is nothing in walking distance. There are amazing hiking trails to enjoy and a wonderful walk in nature – just no stores or amenities to walk to.

Plus you will want to drive to see the famous beaches, the dinosaur park and the many amazing attractions that Portugal has to offer.

2. You MUST plan your own adventure. We will happily meet up for a dinner or two only please remember that we have our own daily routine and we’re not the ones on vacation. So work and responsibility will remain our priority.

3. Be Respectful Guests…aka don’t break anything! And of course be respectful of the pool and responsible swimmers.

4. The most important rule – have fun! Remember you are on vacation and ready to relax and have an adventure. So relax, have fun and explore the many beautiful attractions of Portugal.

The Villa is ideally located so you can enjoy as many day trips as you’d like and return to the Villa to sleep. This is why you will want a car or hire a driver while you are here.

Finally, you will provide your own food and drinks while here. The kitchen is gorgeous and fully functional for cooking your own meals. Mostly because there is no food delivery – you will either have to drive to go out to eat OR make your own meals. There are lots of grocery stores to choose from and the fresh vegetable and fruit market is open daily.

In Exchange for staying at the Vacation Villa you will agree to provide appropriate footage that I can use for my own videos and future use – example…drone footage of the castle, sunsets at the beach or sunrises of any kind. Basically capturing the beauty and charm of Portugal. You can keep all your personal footage of yourself for yourself…just be sure to include footage that I can use as well.
