Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald and Taoiseach Micheál Martin have again clashed over the Government’s response to the rising cost of living. During Leader’s Questions today, she shared stories sent to her from people struggling with increases in costs. The Taoiseach responded by defending the Government’s plans enacted to combat inflation.
