Italy, Portugal and more EU countries I see has same problem 🙈 Young people moving to cities and thousands of properties in villages or in the middle in nowhere empty 🙈 EU population flat for decades, 1-2 decades more properties like that will be 👌
CAN YOU BUY IF YOU ARE NOT CITIZEN OF EU?
With so many abandoned properties you think the gov will be a bit lenient on visas for people from other countries wanting to come in and refurbish these places and live in them .
7 wells is great, but how about drinking water? And, besides the registered ruines: how many people are allowed to live on this property, in tents, caravans, tiny houses, yurts etc.?
It are poplars. Great video Luis
I have a Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 in a very bad shape, almost with no hope….
Brother, i have been following your videos for quite some days and loved them. Forgive me if i may ask you, are these land parcels all long deserted farms and in-ruins properties now put on sale. If forsay then I feel that the price quoted is on the higher considering the buyer has to invest substantially to make the farm liveable and produceable isn't it..??. Further to ask does the Portuguese government provide subsidies in the redevelopment of this farm land if interested people like me show intention to investing in such properties nd develop this land for the betterment of society and environment too. Because these deserted farms could certainly add to fire hazards if left unattended for a long period…??
I think those trees you could not identify are called poplar trees ?
Luis, could you possibly tell us what month you filmed in and the temperature the day you filmed? Besides your colleague sitting in shade it is hard to know average temps in that area. (When I have viewed your previous videos, even sold properties…getting general month and temps gives everyone an idea of weather in that region. ) I like to look at sold properties just to see the house styles (and of course what is termed a "village", "manor", "quinta", and "villa" house as described in any real estate ad. (Just like foreigners to US would probably not know standard house types (of yrs prior) like Ranch, Cape Cod, and more that my brain isn't remembering.) Castelo Branco region (and your videos) show a dry landscape…is that mainly because of the 2022 drought or is it a partly desert like area but with fertile lands as long as you have water? (Another reason why if you could just say what month you are filming in and the temperature that day…that would give us more info.) Can't always rely on how people are dressed..professionals like you tend to wear pants and folks native to the area…like the sellers when they inadvertently get in the video, generally also wear pants as they are doing work. (We don't know if the people get scraped up by the work they perform or if they are allergic to things in their environment which might be why they wear pants vs shorts if it is a blisteringly hot day. Observing some of the EU's record summer temps this past summer…I would personally melt if dressed in long pants. (My older body no longer deals with heat as it used to…)
One other question…I don't expect a real estate agent to know about allergy seasons in PT but I would imagine each season depends upon distinct geographic areas. US has certain pollen maps and they've broken the US into sections mostly based upon what is grown in those areas..but mountains play a role in climates and some of the desert areas actually have high pollen counts (like parts of AZ). People looking to relocate to various areas based upon having fewer miserable allergy months…do look at these things. (Unfortunately I have been reminded of this fact as my allergies went wild in the last few months. Some weather forecasters comment about pollen counts in different areas…so just curious if anything like that exists there so it might be easy to find out allergy zones/seasons. Part of my issue is not having the PT vocabulario for allergies/pollens, etc.
It seems like so much potential here – thank you

Very nice property and visit, thanks. Maybe those trees are "tilleuls" in french and "tilias" in portuguese, following the translation… Not 100% sure ^^
Would-be nice if we could see the properties on a map
Gut gut
Amazing, all that water is worth the money 👌
Could be European beech less than 9 lines either side of the leaf centre thought poplar but not enough suckers from base and they are tall and thin need close up of leaf to be certain cheers like this one 👍❤️❤️❤️🙏
Well, well, well, well, well , well what a choice property
Lewis I love this property it's perfect
The tall trees may be poplars. Beautiful property, thanks!
Thanks for sharing Luis, Great land !!!! 🙂 😀
I think the trees are either aspen or poplar if I could examine the leaves I would be able to say positively
Beautiful property, my new favourite imaginary home! Sadly it is still too soon for me to seriously consider it.
I do wonder when watching your videos if there are local craftspeople that have the skills to restore the marvelous stone buildings and farm equipment? Or have the old skills been forgotten by the younger generations?
Love it!
