  1. I am Fayez a Palestinian Canadian living in Canada Toronto, We like you guys
I study in Romania and I lived about 20 years there , lovely people and amazing country is Romania. I can not stop visiting this country almost every 2 to 3 years.
By the way you should visit Avrig 25 km from sibiu

  2. Boiled țuică or palinca works only for romanians. Sorry guys😂. And romanian doctors use to not recomand antibiotics for small infections because using of antibiotics too often it will afect your body and after that they will be not efficient. I hope you understand my poor English.
BTW, trying to speak romanian is very funny 😆. Our language is difficult for westerners. (one "leu", two "lei")
Some people says that ice cream is good for throat…. I never tried 😅.
And do not be a fan of any romanian football (soccer) team. They all sucks, but the fans are nuts.
Romania is a poor country just because our government is selling all the natural resources and we have the biggest no. of gypsies (an emigrated nation in Romania) which is a bad image for us – they don't like to work, live in poor conditions, they love to steal and beg, they are very noise(loud) and violent. .. Sorry for that. But I'm happy that you didn't have to deal with them until now. (After you will, your impression about Romania will be changed😢)
    Best wishes and take care!

  3. Hello, i live and follow you from uk, but i am.romanian, is a pleasure to see my country trhrogh your own eyes,Brasov is a nice city, also other cityes, but there are many places to visit, especially mountain side, the countryside is amazing, wonderful and healty, also i want to correct you that romanian language it wasn't created in that church, this is a misunderstanding and i don't know who told.you that, check other official sources if want to know about romanian languagr and romanian history, otherwise i like your live trip in my country, i wish you a nice time there and all the best 👍

  4. Hello, from New Jersey USA. Congratulations on your road trip thru my childhood country. Your vlogs are the best compared with the ones made by ones born and still live in Romania. Ivana is owsome too, and your enthusiasm eating traditional food is so touching.

  5. Hi guys, I am watching you from the UK, you do a great service to Romania by presenting so many interesting places and people, if I would work for the Romanian government I would give you the title of Honorific Ambassadors of Romania! Have you visited the Turda Salt Mine yet? Look it up on YouTube please. Thanks for all the work you do.

  6. Hi guys, if you're still in Brasov, take a look to visit Poiana Brasov (it's near the city at 15 minutes by car), very nice place & there's a beautiful traditional restaurant Coliba Haiducilor (it has good food and nice view).

  7. Hello fellow Canadians! I'm a Romanian living in Montreal, you should cross the Carpathians and go visit Bucovina Region and the town of Piatra Neamț. I'll be in Piatra until 20 October

  8. Guys, you should also go to Sinaia, take the cable cart to "Babele" and "the Sphinx" rock formations and then do the 4 hour hike to Omu' peak. Believe me, you will not regret the experience and you will remember it your whole life.

  9. You should also visit Târgu Mureș a very nice hungarian-romanian city in Transylvania.
Also Praid or Turda salt mines are also worth seeing and the salt air is very good for your health.

  10. Steve, go to the farmacy and buy some "albastru de metilen" and take a big spoonful of it with sugar (it is very bitter otherwise).
It will make your mouth blue for a few hours but it will pass and so will your throat infection.

  11. Hey, guys! 🤘🏻 I'm happy to see you enjoying Romania again, despite Brașov's effect on Steve (the Spellslinger?) 😁 I assumed that's the MTG you were talking about. Anyway, noroc și sănătate!

  12. Wish you a quick recovery. I bet you miss cold beer right now 😁.
This swinging weather… after i finished isolating my house today and prepared for the usual really cold winter, now they said it will get very warm in RO in the next few days 🤣.

  13. Who the heck prescribed all that stuff? Too many pills… I don't know how you react to that heavy duty antibiotic, but I hope they gave you pro biotics and stomach protective stuff with that, the vitamins and throat pills ( two different kinds that do the same thing?)… just get a multivitamin ( Eurovita, Centrum, DoppelHertz A-Z, etc. )and some Strepsils next time and maybe some anti temperature/ anti inflammatory/pain relief meds like Paracetamol ( only because it's friendlier with the stomach and seems to be more effective for longer stretches of time). Now, if it weren't for the antibiotics, I would've recommended the best Romanian cure for colds: Palinca ( burns away the microbe), slanina cu ceapa ( it's yummy, absorbs some of the alcohol and the onion is very healthy to eat raw, anything with garlic, and chicken soup, and lots of fluids and rest, ofc. Oh and the teas you saw Alex dry up when you visited? Those are liquid gold for the immune system and several other systems in the human body. LOL

  14. Romanians are notorious for taking too many antibiotics (some pharmacies sell them without prescription, even though they shouldn't). This increases the bacteria's resistance to antibiotics, making them ineffective. That's why doctors prescribe support first, to help the body fight on it's own.

  15. So much for redemption huh … Well no worries, redemption time for u guys in Brasov there is still not over yet, Steve …. U'll recover in no time and make that redemption Steve …. No worries ….
