Nomad Capitalist lifestyle is all about mindset, not only lowering taxes. Over the years, we’re helping people lead their lives and go where they’re treated best. Recently Alex Hormozi posted a video about Why you don’t need to move overseas for lower taxes, why some richest persons are still living in the USA, and about Puerto Rico. We appreciate Alex Hormozi’s content. He is a real entrepreneur, but Andrew disagrees with him and sets the record straight in this video.

  1. It sounds like the NOMAD lifestyle is just for people who own online business and are multi-millionaires. I could have that wrong, if I am please let me know. What about people that own a business in their home country that is a brick and mortar business? What about businesses generating 1/2 a million in yearly revenue? Is there anything they can do to take advantage of some of these NOMAD lifestyle tax advantages?

  2. Whatever his intentions with this video, if you get nothing else from his video… If you understand the heart of what he's saying at 2:14 – then this video makes COMPLETE sense.
It's a mindset. It's understanding what's going on in the world. It's knowing you're still ignorant and trying to put together the political and economical picture for where you live. When you realize we are like leaves in the wind or water… and we don't control the weather. 😞
It's seeking and trying to know what good values are. Then moving your life accordingly.

But I get it… that new movie or new episode or game is coming out. How could you miss it? I feel the same way. But you have to be actively working on and checking your mind.

"Your mind is the scene of the crime" 😆

  3. During our 30 year military service, we had the privilege of living in many exciting countries like Japan, Jordan, Botswana, Finland and many more. We loved that nomadic lifestyle so much that after retiring, we joined a company that allowed us to continue living this fantastic life. We don't own a home anywhere in the world, our plan is to continue traveling until our old age then settle down near one of our children or other close family members.

  4. Hi Andrew,
You are an awesome person, although I don't know you personally. Enjoy what you do and you don't need to defend yourself over your choices to anyone. I ENJOY watching your videos and thinking maybe ask your advice on my matters! God bless and keep up a good job enjoying your business model and you life, first!

  5. I moved to a country half-time where I'm respected and not treated like a piece of sh*t. The people are kind, respectful, and too busy enjoying their lives and their freedoms to be screaming about what someone else has that they don't…and blaming me and others like me for their pathetic problems. Nothing left to say.

  6. I can appreciate wanting to live where we are most appreciated, where our money is most appreciated, but, if everyone in the West does this, who is left behind to fight the Communist takeover of Western Civilization? All these other foreign cultures might, for awhile, seem able to more easily prosper you, but, the truth is, they are being left alone at the moment while Progressive Marxism Marshalls it's weapons to take over the West. Once that's accomplished, do you think the Dear Leaders of the Enemy, who have ruined the West, won't return to Eastern or smaller countries (not yet fully Communist) to hunt you down?

If you are at all decent and believe in the freedom to prosper, the liberty to be unique..the Corrupt Elitist Dear Leaders will hunt you down. At the end of your life, is having made lots of money (while, at the end, you and your children suffer under Global Communism and Deviant Society) so important to you??

So go ahead and abandon your culture…leave the sinking ship…and extend your "false sense of freedom" until the West is utterly demolished and, at that point, there shall be nowhere to flee…because Dear Leaders always want every soul on earth to submit to them.

Today, the new 'nomadic' citizens of the world is inadvertently helping these Dear Leaders to destroy Western Civilization. How? By their shallow and worldly need to prosper and get what they want now rather than to stay and watch over their governments and culture and, if it shows signs of corruption, to do their duty to resist all that would destroy it. So maybe you shall have a better life globe trotting you and your money…but, what that is doing is helping to destroy the 'rule of law" West, which is the last defense against Communism and Tribalism.

So, if the Enemy to Moral Decency and Civil Society is Progressiveness and Communism, and this Enemy is now trying to take down the Greatest Ever Civilization (in spite of it's corrupt citizens), how much more so shall this Enemy return to Eastern or Barely Western Cultures and demolish them utterly?

What Western Civilization is facing today is no longer a specific recognizable enemy, in a specific location or toward a specific group or culture, rather, it's a Global War to end the fight between the Decent &/or Civilized and the Indecent &/or Tribal…and every "nomadic capitalist" is inadvertently contributing to the demise of the West (which, today, doesn't much seem worth saving, yet, where will the earth be without it?). Only the West can offer humanity what the East cannot even when they attempt to copy the West.

Well, if you must "flee for your….what?" personal prosperity? I say good riddance. You leave behind a gathering Resistance that includes the real men and real women of the West who choose to stay behind and fight the good fight…whatever their sacrifice…and even though, they too could afford to flee what looks like, today, a "sinking ship" and a "losing battle".

Some literary character (a king) once replied to a battle commander "Yes, we may well lose, but, we will go into battle nonetheless". No, not fool hardy, instead, some of the bravest words ever said!

  7. That was good of you to engage the skeptic in a positive way. I agree with the skeptic that you shouldn't go overseas for tax reasons, because almost all countries have higher tax rates than the U.S. There are VAT taxes, stamp taxes, wealth / property taxes, and so on. You don't see these taxes in the on-line stats, but they are there, and you have to hire local attorneys and accountants to comply with them. Many Americans go overseas to arbitrage their U.S. income with what they think will be a lower cost of living overseas. Lower cost of living comes with lower quality of life, although some people find living in exotic places a high quality of life in itself. This can be invigorating. But there are risks. A friend moved from Canada to Kiev in the early 2000s and loved it there. At least he did until the Russians put it under artillery and air bombardment. When you leave the USA / Canada, you are stepping into a world of risk you cannot comprehend as a U.S. citizen. I would say move overseas if you have family ties in a foreign country or love the adventure of adapting yourself to new cultures, but not because you think you'll save on taxes or be able to buy a higher quality of life than what you have here. btw. You mention Colombia a lot. I have also lived there. It is a beautiful country with dynamic and friendly people. The risk there now is that a Communist (Gustavo Petro) is leading in the polls to be their next president when the election is held in May. If he wins, Colombia will become a garbage heap of a country like Venezuela. Everything you invested there will become worthless, and your life will be at severe risk with a Communist / criminal as your president. I hope Colombians will understand that Petro will ruin them, but in Latin America, it is not a good bet that people will vote wisely. They are prone to voting the worst people in office who they know will destroy their countries. You have to take these risks into account if you move overseas.

  8. Agreed a good 'Steward' in the biblical sense of the word is one who takes care in who they pay their tithe too, rather than forced to pay tax to fund gay whales and corrupt politicians.

  9. I like the idea of nit giving my hard earned cash to wasteful governments…. but we also see that the super rich hardly ever pay their fair share … even in "high tax" countries… so most of them don't have to move to "save" taxes…. isn't this part of what Alex was trying to make…?

  10. I emigrated after the lockdowns began in USA. I stayed abroad after Trump removal. Im in Dalmatia. The people remind me of old southerners. My advice not come here if you are a leftist of feminist. Do not come here if you are weak, steal, lie, cheat, and behave very respectfully in public. In other words, no Js and no Biden supporters.

  11. Leftists are all the same whether they be here in Canada or in the USA. They get all bent out of shape when someone disagrees with where they're taking the country and votes with their feet by leaving. Immediately they make personal attack by calling those wishing to escape unpatriotic. It's all about attempting to shame those who refuse to live under the rules the other person supports.

This sort of attack is not new. Here in Canada the go to label, to counter someone who is arguing against the approved narrative, has been to label them a racist for some time now.

I am tired of these people, and prefer to just ignore them now because they are so predictable with their talks and how much they get bent out of shape when their ideology starts to crumble.
