🥾A Walk Around Santa Comba Dão, Viseu District Central Portugal

In this video we take a walk around Santa Comba Dão in the Viseu District Central Portugal. I had driven through this town many times and now that I am staying nearby I got to take a proper look around. It’s a pretty town with a nice feel.
This one is for those of you who like the real on-the-ground view of Portugal.
Enjoy! 🙂

  1. I have just written a comment to this vlog but I do not know what has happened it doesn't not show. But I can read that I have sent it to you. My name is Filipa but the name that would appear is Eduardo Coelho, my husband's name, because I am using his mobile phone. If you did not get any answer on my part please let me know. I all write a new one then. Cheers, Filipa.

  2. A lot of the vacant buildings are fully furnished. When we looked to build we were told many had owners whose children had moved to the big centers and keep them out of family reverence or just can’t be bothered to have the hassle of selling. If they can afford to keep many do but they just unused. So sad. Many are just gorgeous but need attention

  3. I loved this video. I know all these streets. It’s so nice to see from someone else’s perspective. Have you done a walk around tomar? It’s really worth it. But thanks for doing the lesser towns too. People don’t see them as much

  4. As an Urbanite over the years of holidaying in Portugal I've been based in Lisbon, Porto, Faro and Lagos and do day trips to near by places of interest.
Luise next year I hope to spend 3 to 4 weeks in Portugal and your vlogs have now got me interested in exploring Central Portugal.
As I don't drive which central Portugal cities would you suggest as my base that I would also be able to easily explore other central Portugal towns and cities using public transport and also be able to easily get to Lisbon for some long weekends.
    Thanks.

  5. The dark clouds look promising🌦 is this a holiday town? Some of the older buildings were lovely, I wonder why people choose to live in the new blocks instead. Did you find an estate agent?thank you for the tour❤️
