100 Year Old Abandoned Stone House Renovation | DIY BRICKLAYING Building A Block Wall – Ep.5

In This episode we are building the Block Wall for the smaller room, to divide it into the Room + WC and the corridor for the staircase to the Mezzanine floor.

Hi guys, I am Alex.

I am an Ukrainian expat who moved to Portugal.
No one in my family ever did any farming, But I discovered that I am very passionate about farming so recently I’ve purchased this 28 hectares Farm in Central Portugal, with the intention to start a small scale farm raising worms, cattle and sheep.

In this little farm I am also planning to build an off grid home, and be as self sufficient as possible, by growing my own food.

I created this channel to share my journey with the world, The journey of a first generation farmer, that is starting with no prior knowledge and experiences.
That maybe all the mistakes that I will make along this journey, and all the fails maybe will help some of you to learn from my mistake and not make them yourself.
I want to bring value and inspire people who are thinking about farming.

I am not a filmmaker or an editor, I am just a simple guy with a camera.

So if it is interesting to you, subscribe to the channel and you will not miss the upcoming episodes.

  2. Your dad is a magnificent builder. I've seen builders working before. He is thorough. That house will be a neat piece of work when you are done. Must say, I've heard of many kinds of pets, but yours are the sweetest. On who's bed will she sleep? 😉 😀 😃

  3. Hi Alex and Dad. You have walls,so enjoyable watching bricklaying. The master at work. Angelica checking the progress and making sure the walls are plumb. You work so well as a team an achieve so much. Your food place looks after you both, home cooked, so tasty and good value for €.
Alex, Angelica was demanding your attention at one point I thought she was going to headbutt you over……your very patient and gentle with her.shows she's loved/ cherished and she feels it from you both.
Have a good week and stay safe.
