If you’re a young digital nomad looking for a calm, picturesque location for your next residence, or a retiree looking to spend golden years off of the workforce in tranquility, comfort, and ease away from the hustle-bustle of urban city life, then a sunny island oasis might be your best pick. In this video we have listed some of the most secluded island retreats that are located on off the beaten path and don’t have as many people visiting or residing in them. But, Bear in mind that these islands are not completely remote with no access at all to other countries or the mainland. Instead, these islands have decent transport connections while also providing access to the basic amenities of daily life as well as high quality of living and boast beautiful sceneries, beachfront resorts with a relaxed mode of living, and a comfortable atmosphere.

Before you do a video like this learn to pronounce the names. Also French Polynesia is not west of Oceana. It's west of South America and east of Oceana.
PRICES would be incredibly helpful. And you mispronounce ALOT of the names
Very interesting, but please, learn proper pronunciation. Other than that, a good array of somewhat off the beaten path of places to live.
Places to move to when SHTF.
Mauritius is better…15% tax…
Vanuatu is the world's most at-risk country for natural hazards, so that might be a bit risky. Also, you have to work on your pronunciation of these places. There were a few cringey ones! But solid list overall
These look wonderful but I think there are a lot of things you have to take into consideration if you want to reside on a more secluded island (price of food and other things being brought from the mainland, price and frequency of connections to mainland, delivery time if you need to order something from outside the island, just to name a few. These being said, we love Portugal and hope to visit next year as a retirement option. Cheers from Canada!
