Pretty good video but flawed. Why in other videos is Montevideo mentioned as one of the more EXPENSIVE places in SA? Also, you fail to take into account that many of these countries have residency visa requirements higher than $1500 a month..Mexico and Spain for example.

Batumi is an interesting choice, I wouldn't have thought of it. Great list. We are a couple in our early 50s and starting to think about retirement… We could still work a few more years remotely, so this would be the moment to try a few places.
Manila is terrible…and not that cheap as you might thing…

I know most of the places, but to live there with 1500 US$ seems to me just for people, who got connections to locals and get special prices,….. Albufeira is an expensive tourist place and to live cheap there isn't for everybody, but this isn't mentioned.
When you know people somewhere it's cheap everywhere. I spend a whole weekend in Paris for 100€,…..yes I know Paris well and got friends there,…….
