#162 Travel By Art Ep.34: Abstract Painting, Torres Vedras, Portugal (Watercolor Cityscape Tutorial)

Michael Solovyev. Abstract Painting, Street in Torres Vedras, Portugal. From the photo made by the author. @DANIEL SMITH watercolor paints on Saunders Waterford Rough paper, 22×15 inches.

This time around we will jump into even more abstract painting than we did last week, using the reference photo I made myself in the beautiful Torres Vedras, Portugal! I absolutely love this town, and I already visited it 3 times 🙂

  3. Great background music that suits your meditative approach to painting – I love it. I'll try this now I've had the honour of taking part in one of your online workshops.
Those light and airy brush strokes seem to glide effrortlessly over the paper.
I love how you use only a few colours, but the choice of colours and how they are used to create contrast and balance is wonderful to watch.
