Sam Mendes, the Oscar®-winning director of Skyfall, Spectre and American Beauty, brings his singular vision to this World War I epic. At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (Captain Fantastic’s George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones’ Dean-Charles Chapman), are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers-Blake’s own brother among them.

  1. Great film. Would have been a nice touch had they included a bit of tinnitus after the trip-wire scene inside the German bunker. No way they regained their hearing that soon after experiencing a blast especially when inside an enclosed space like that.

  2. More than anything this shows exactly why any other conflict like this needs to be avoided. War in itself is cruel, but put it on a scale like this and it's nothing like you've ever seen and will ever see. I would rather be set on fire than be put through something like this.

  3. Hi, God loves you all so so much, please repent to start your relationship with Jesus Christ! God LOVES YOU! please repent! JOHN 3:16 “For God so loved the world, he gave his one and only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God loves you! ❤️❤️

  4. incredible movie. outstanding direction and editing to make it look one long take. the cinematography is amazing. and the acting is great and the suspense thrills all superb. unbelievable how they made this movie. just perfect.

  5. Jesus says in John 6:40 "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." Jesus of Nazareth, who was God in the flesh of a man, died for the remission of sin, including yours, was buried, and rose form the dead 3 days later. If you simply believe in this to apply to you and trust Jesus to save you from hell then you have everlasting life in heaven. "Whosoever believes on the Son has everlasting life." John 3:36.
