From Lisbon, we took two high-speed trains to arrive in a city in Portugal’s Algarve region— beautiful Lagos. This coastal city is known for its dramatic shoreline that features orange rocky cliffs and turquoise blue waters. Although we only had 24 hours to experience Lagos, we had a divine trip, enjoying delicious seafood, admiring golden sunsets, and breathing in fresh ocean air. If you visit Portugal, make sure to add the Algarve to your itinerary, because it’s definitely worth the trip down south (even during the winter time)!
