  1. Thank you Luise, as always beautiful views and places. You would be ideal person to give your opinion of the best villages around Fundaõ to look fir property.. warm regards from Autumn Cape Town 🥰 have not as yet decided if should plan trip coming October or May next year.. . Your opinion as a seasoned traveller around Central Portugal 😁

  2. What a spectacular place! Thank you for sharing. I can’t wait to move to Portugal but I have to wait for my son to end high school. I also love what you are doing! What a fantastic way to visit all of Portugal.

  3. Breathing views😍, and as you said, so different, at different times of the year. Heart warming story of strangers caring for your well being. So many ruins…always lovely to see Portugal through your eyes. I hope lavender will always and forever grow wild on Cindy’s farm. I imagine the air smelling very lavender-y. Until next time..

  4. What a wonderful drive!!! So beautiful. If I was to move I think where you are staying in the Coimbra district would be it for me. Take care and thanks for sharing your day! See you next time. p.s. I was subscribed but today I noticed I wasn't . hmmmm back as a subscriber.

  5. Hazel ☘️ …
Another wonderful walk Luise … spring is so beautiful !
This is more my favourite landscape , hills and mountains .
The house you are staying at is gorgeous !
Loved the abandoned village … the stone houses are astounding … if I was 30 years younger I’d be doing a Jasper and trying to buy the whole village !
    🙏☘️😘

  6. I love Spring! everything blossoming, sensual colors and smells, nature singing the song of life!
Yet all those ruins are obviously result from the fires, probably 2017…

  7. You are playing a good hand, taking your time, getting a good feel for what areas, type of property and lifestyle you want to lead, if and when you decide to establish your own base.
I love to be up in the hills, the views there are sublime. The lavoir (not sure of the Portuguese word) is beautifully built.

  8. That house….wisteria…beyond the beyond…the LAVENDER……..THE LITTLE PIG GUYS……I am so curious of Portugal….as trying to escape Germany….my only worry…is this mountain area where u houses at…does it get heated with dry / no rain & fire…??? OR IS IT RAIN SUMMER….I KNOW LESS rain in Spain & Portugal….even Italy now…just wondering…..what a gorgeous time day by day an adventure….thk u for sharing ur amazing life…..I plan on doing the same…but still in struggle mode w money / need to get drivers license / car….wish to find my tribe….looks like some beautiful people around u…..respect & light…

  9. I'm falling in love with Central Portugal from your videos. One thing that seems absolutely necessary there is a car. You do a lot of driving, it seems—and we benefit! If you have not, at some point could you share what it costs to operate a car (insurance, gas, tolls, etc.) with all that driving in Central Portugal? If you've done this, I've missed it. I do recall a video of your taking a car into the country and those costs but not operating costs once you are there. Some rainy day, perhaps? Thanks for another beautiful video!
