As I continue to explore Central Portugal in this video I show you around Arganil. It’s a town in the
Municipality of the same name in the Coimbra District in Central Portugal. I am house sitting close by and take the opportunity to show you the area.

What a lovely town. It’s wonderful to see an active community and market! I have one or two reasons, like you, that make me feel like it might be time to settle… a bit.
Arganil is even prettier than Coja! AND it has very useful & needed amenities. And i think this is the tidiest little town so far in CP that anyone has showed us — didn't spot any derelict buildings, graffiti, fire damage… it's nicely maintained and very attractive. Just now Arganil is my favorite looking town in CP. Thanks, Luise!
Beautiful spot.
Nice work. Appreciate the demographic information at the beginning. Also always like to see the real estate posting. Looking forward to your next video!
Thanks for all the info titles at the beginning. Very helpful in putting the area in context. Your videos just get better and better!
My road trip in Central Portugal ended last week. I didn't manage to find a property but I did go to the furniture shop in your video and bought the grey pair of Merrell's ( second from the left). Haha
Nice place,, clean, tidy, no ugly street art. The ts refer to bedrooms with windows so as far as I know a t + means a bedroom without a window.. funny that bout the shop windows, go shopping for shoes end up with a suitee ( furniture). Ruin with a view and three acres… 25k. U have travelled Portugal, the world, well not all of it. Have u made a decision ????? Wows and omgs. Love the journey. Glad Cindy is back… Her relief to be home. Bad press for the portuguse foreign affairs. Thanks for sharing. omg how can u top these vlogs. Regards.
I like the reaction of the ruin with a view , so much fun going walking with you
Lovely town. Always enjoye your videos . Take care dear Louise with a beautiful smile
Then get your own spot, I say spot because houses are expensive but you just need a homebase for a allotment and your shed.
I think you could nearly be right it looks like a Dancehall of some sort looking at the figures on the outside of that building. That indoor market with the fruit veg and cheese shop remind me of an indoor veg market in Milton Keynes 🙈And when you started walking into town that reminds me of a few places in the UK very pretty . house prices seem to be creeping up I best get my skates on and get over there before there’s nothing left😭 thank you for sharing glad to hear the good news Cindy is home take care
Nice town with interesting architecture. If you are still in the area for the next market day, you will know your way around. Interesting realtor window. Read an article about immigration to Portugal and what it is doing to real estate prices. Saw that a Federal law was passed to prohibit short-term rentals for tourists in multi unit residential blocks — pushed by people stating normal rentals for families are dwindling because Ex-Pats buy up properties — improve them — then rent as AirB&B's. What are you hearing?
Always good content
❤️ not what I was expecting at the market either. I also prefer the fresh produce markets/food markets. I hope those don’t ever go away. Fresh produce and vintage markets are the best. Thanks for showing what’s available for sale in housing . Only one ruin… 😥
Very nice. I'm surprised that the population is so small. It feels like a much bigger town as you walk around it. Alex
Thanks for the tour – Obligatory fountain 🙂

What a nice place, love the narrow roads! In a certain way, the balcony reminds me a little of Malta… <3 Great video!
I like seeing the city maintains its property. No littering, trees are trimmed and everything seems organized. I see o some people are still wearing masks. Is it still required in town and stores?
Thanks for sharing, what a lovely little town. ❤
I love all your videos but Arganil is a place I know. I lived in Murganheira, Pombeiro da Beira, until i immigrated to USA at 13. Until then I made frequent visits to Arganil. I returned at 24 and again at 50 in 2003. Still looks as I remember it.
Love your travels and look forward to see where you will settle.
'A ruin with a view' 😃
Hi lovely lady, really cheered me up to see you had uploaded.
