The only European countries (in GeoGuessr) that don’t use the Latin alphabet are Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Greece, N. Macedonia, sometimes Serbia. Also Paraguay and Lebanon aren’t in the game. Yellow plates (in Europe) are Netherlands, UK, Luxembourg, and Denmark

There is a certain weakness to playing by committee that really reveals itself in the final rounds.

On Google maps, it's almost never going to be Germany. Very little streetview coverage there

Pro tip, the language that leads you to Tunisia, jordan, etc. is arabic, and if you see arabic only on a sign, it wont be israel. Israel will have hebrew which looks like this שלום

the thing with geogusser videos on youtube. there are some insane players that can tell exactly where they are by the smallest details. It can be very impressive, and they put a lot of work in to become that good. That said I enjoy watching people play the game at normal level far more that watching the best players.

And guys for the nth time. PHILIPPINES HAS NO FUNKY LETTERS! I always comment this and I'm sick of Jimmy immediately going for it. If you suspect trifecta country and see funky letters, IT IS NOT PHILIPPINES!
