In this vlog we are out and about in the Viseu and Coimbra District exploring viewpoints, river beaches and pretty villages. Ruins and abandoned farms are nothing unusual but we come across a couple huge ones this week.
I visit Meraid in her beautiful garden, something I look forward to achieving one day!

Luise, lovely vlog, very interesting. That abandoned Quinta with the called trees must have been an Agro Turismo at some stage, judging by the sign near the gate. Would have been a lovely place to stay at some stage. Maybe an opportunity for somebody for the future if they could find the owners.
Hi Luise loving your travels around Portugal. You are doing the driving and I'm watching from my sofa! Hoping to come by boat in September with my car and tour around to find our forever home. I loved Mairead's story and would love to connect with her but can't seem to find her on YouTube. Mairead is the Irish version of Margaret, my name also! Best wishes😊
Please see the YouTube of Eugenia Diaz, maybe u can visit her
This was a very good vlog Luise, thankyou!
I have Just returned from Portugal touring around and I was shocked to see so many abandoned properties, restaurants.
What a beautiful area Louise, thanks for sharing that trip with us 💛
What an amazing forest garden and building. I'm loving these tours of different areas.
Ohh ohh love the vid !=8)
Is it true forest fires due to dry eucalyptus trees?
Lovely place you've gone to. Her farm is beautiful.
Thanks for posting and sharing.
Lovely place I love watching people driving on the other side of the road give me a bit more confidence for when I go over to start driving 🙈🤣👍
Your friend has a lovely, productive garden that beet was amazing! IGood to see her companion gardening for more productivity.
Thank you for sharing your journeys. Its great to see the different areas. Such a pity that so many beautiful homes have been abandoned and gone into disrepair I hope that they eventually get a new lease on life!
L, beautiful, if u find a spot to find a base well and good, but enjoy so much your travels around. If I am waiting for it I am not waiting for the exposure, Portugal is lovely . If you ever stopped and found a spot I would hope you continue the local area. when and if u u pick an area, I would look forward to it's presentation. Kind regards.
Thank you for sharing your tours as ever, it's a real tonic!
Another lovely vlog! I love the views in this area of central portugal. Thanks for sharing. See you next time.
What a great video of this beautiful area. Thank you for visiting our Quinta and isn’t serendipity a wonderful thing. 🥰
Lovely footage. ❤
Hello Luis beautiful lady.💕
You have been missed this week. It's looking gorgeous out there. Fog and Rain in London Town.
Coimbra or Costello blanco?
We all come on a travel with your videos.
Your friend has made a huge difference to her land in just a year, I loved the garden, the arches and the fences. The 2 abandoned buildings were beautiful and I can only say wow, Portugal has the most amazing landscapes😍 thank you for taking your time, it was anything but boring❤️
Very interesting. Thanks Louise.
Are you getting any closer to deciding where you would like to put down roots?
what a beautiful quinta the person who'll take ownership of it will be very lucky but will need to be very hardworking 😀 Lol really funny to see how "shocked" the guy with the weed wacker was as you capture him as you drove 😀
