Cascais, with the "s" pronnounced. My village. I love it. The beach you were in, is at Guincho coast, is Cresmina beach. A particular beach, it's from the formation of Sintra mountain. But that is Geology. I loved that you liked. It's quite urban, were you at the Cascais old village? you may have compared it with another village, the disposition is quite similar, Biarritz.
It's a fishermen's village, and we the citizens as well as the municipality, don't want it to become a huge city. That's why, despite being the main Concelho, it's still called vila and not city.
We have many beaches along the coast. I hope you looked for the downtown area, the so called "baixa".
By following you through your videos, I believe you would love Sintra, just near by. So romantic and with so beautiful castles.
I can understand your love for the mountains, I feel alike, and despite being old, I still would love to go at least for some years, away from such urbanism. It's different, here everybody lives near somebody, too close. Living here is extremely expensive, houses and flats/apartments are so expensive that's almost obscene.
And you know what, I felt the urge to go away after watching some of your videos. They remembered me my country. This country is a true pearl, unfortunately, became too expensive, mainly for us and particularly for the elders. Let's see if still have the chance. Love your videos.

I love to see three-legged dogs running around as fast, and having as much fun any four-legged one. Nice coastline for walking and getting the lovely sea breeze.

Is chippy part squirrel. On your closing shot, the beach, the sea, and the cloud bank either rolling in or parallel to the shore, that is stop, observe and enjoy. As your said there are a lot of videos of Cascais but I think you summed up its essene. All mod cons available 21century, clean living, chilled and relaxing, close to the sea and mountains.
