  1. Lisbon,Portugal
    Panama city, Panama
    Accra, Ghana
Playa del Carmen, Mexico city, Mexico
    Jamaica
    Metagene, Colombia
    Coasta Rica
    I'll add Tanzania, Africa

  2. I love Accra, Ghana. I was there for 13 days. My American dollar was powerful compared to the Ghana Cidi. I could purchase an apartment for 2 years on 1 month of my pension. There's something I'm missing if someone have to work in addition to receiving retirement income because they moved to Ghana. You just don't get un-retired and go back to work. Not this retired government sister.
Now, if you acquire a family while you're there…. uh, yeah…. you might have to get mo-money🤣

  3. Don’t worry, there are PLENTY of black and brown immigrants from these very same countries literally DYING to get to the USA to replace you.. smart move ladies💀

  4. Ghana is very nice but you need alot of money if you want to live their comfortably. Atm im not going to my home town due to covid restrictions about getting full vaccination which is annoying.

  5. I swear you and a few other ladies have inspired me to get out of here. I have booked and paid for a trip to Mexico City for June & I am doing my best to prepare myself to expatriate forever. I even signed up for Spanish lessons! Oh my poor old brain.

  6. When black Americans complain of racism in the 🇺🇸 and still pick Portugal as their first country of repat speaks volume. What yall lack is honesty. If you are tired of racism and seeing too many white faces then still pick Portugal I think yall are just a bunch of confused twisted lot.

  7. How can a long-serving, eternally supportive, forever grateful husband convince his dear, darling ever-loving wife to join him in retirement — and move to another country?? As a retiree (military & GS) we have lived in many countries during my career; and we know the US is not where we want to 'live' in our golden year. Wifey is now at 'retirement age' — but wants to continue working for another 5+ years… because she enjoys her job. So, should I wait at home while she continues work… or, go on my own…???

  8. Hi Stephanie, I’ve been in Ghana eight months and haven’t and I
Am having an awesome experience. I’m interested in starting a small business with some help of some guardians who have known since I’ve been here very reliable. I’m a retired teacher, and I’m also retired from the military so everything is pretty easy for me hear the people are wonderful again I’ll be keeping up with you. Continue putting the word out some people can experience something wonderful in their lives.

  9. I never thought I would have the guts to move abroad until I came across your channel about 2 years ago. This year I finally did it! I moved to the UAE and love it! I chose UAE partly cuz of what I do, and I always stopping here when traveling to East Africa. Since I've been living here, I realize that the US has such a broken system. Anyway, Thanks again for all of your work and showing us that we can break up for good with the US 😊!

  10. I met a black woman several years ago, who stated it was her dream to move to Mexico. She took the plunge and said she enjoys living there. And, she stated the people are good to black people.

  11. Hello. I enjoyed visiting Panama City as well as several of the nearby islands. Looking forward to returning. Definitely a place I would consider for extended stays.

  12. Black people are moving to Africa. Many are in Ghana, Gambia, Tanzania, Kenya etc. Salvador Brazil is another place that I love. I live in Italy, I married an Italian. We are building a family compound in Ghana for ourselves and the rest of my family left in America and Puerto Rico. America is just awful.

  13. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲Go Jamaica!! Also, It's proximity to and availability of flights to US from Montego Bay and Kingston (1hour to Miami) as well as GREAT Internet speed.

  14. Stephanie! It was love at 1st sight when I came across your gorgeous face and videos some months ago and subscribed immediately. But I soon realized I am not your target audience cause I am African living in Europe.
To be specific South African. You seem to be anti Africa. What is the difference between retiring in Ghana vs Jamaica? It all about demand vs supply, basic economics. Ghana is getting expensive because of the high influx of African Americans not because Ghana is bad.
It doesn't matter where you retire, you have to have a long term financial plan and how you will earn a living. I don't know any black retirees who are digital Nomads or housesitters. Those careers are associated with younger people, at least under 60. I feel you are dictating to people to move to your favorite places. You sound prejudice based on very limited research. Your personal experience and chatting to one African American in Africa who didn't do proper research before they moved and had no financial plan doesn't mean the experience will be the same for everyone:-(

  15. Young Jamaicans party 7 days per week. My people will go to work and after work they will party until the wee hours and still get to work on time. Church is also party.
Check out Irie channel. She's a Ukrainian who has lived in Jamaica for 7 years with her Ukrainian husband. She has a vlog on residency if you have no Jamaican ancestors or spouse.

  16. Yes, leaving Brazil for Costa Rica with my kids. More black expat familes there. We have Lived around the Caribbean..Jamaica is far from paradise. It can actually be down right scary especially for women.

  17. African Americans can easily move to these countries in Africa and not miss a thing about America. South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and when you live here you are no longer a minority you become part of the majority. These are not poor countries. Come back to the motherland please my brothers and sisters. I forgot Rwanda.

  18. When it comes to Latin cuisine, true Colombian food is very rustic. Mexican and Peruvian food is more vast and sophisticated. Colombian food is quite similar to Dominican food : rice beans sausages stews pork and goat.

  19. Folks are sleeping on Belize, "The Colonizers" have been building quickly …San Pedro…Guatemala …Central America…all winners

  20. Love your videos I would like to get away from racist hateful entitled people in America forever. Does anyone know if there is a nondenominational Christian churchs abroad in Portugal not catholic??????

  21. Hi Stephanie. I just LOVE your channel, watching your content always brighten my day. GAMBIA is a country where many black expats/repats are thriving. Many black Americans are opening their own businesses without any hassle, red tape, or struggle.
