I have been a resident in Portugal for 17 years, but as you know following Brexit, the old Certificado (with the yellow stars), for Brits needed to be replaced by a new Certificate with biometrics of some kind. In the meantime, I was sent a temporary CERTIFICADO DE PEDIDO DE TÍTULO DE RESIDÊNCIA,ARTIGO 50.º do TUE, REPÚBLICA PORTUGUESA (PORTUGUESE REPUBLIC
RESIDENCE PERMIT APPLICATION CERTIFICATE ARTICLE 50 TEU) now OVER a YEAR AGO. According to my accountant AFM in Tavira, there are 1000s of Brits here in the same situation. It's all because of Covid and the axe hanging over the SEF here in Portugal. Any advice anyone can offer would be great. Mike T. Altura
