Carvoeiro is a small village located in the municipality of Lagos in the South of Portugal. It’s only 30 minutes drive away from Albufeira, whose nightlife is the liveliest in the Algarve.
Carvoeiro is a stronghold for British tourists, especially families with small kids and the elderly. This makes it way calmer than Albufeira.
The Carvoeiro Beach forms a bay protected by the cliffs and viewpoints from both sides provide you a breathtaking view of it.
