After a memorable trip to Portugal last July 2019, we had to return to this gorgeous country. In our first episode of the new “Abandoned Portugal” series, you’ll see how Maureno flies over to Portugal to meet his friend Danny from @EsquecidoS – Forgotten. On their first exploring day, they start off the adventure with a lot of bad luck. But finally, after two fails, they manage to explore the beautiful yellow mansion of the lost Portuguese bride. Where did she and her family go? Why is the place left neglected in such a state of disrepair? Unfortunately, many of these questions remain unanswered.

  24. What angers me when I see these homes in Southern Europe: the people there complain about the refugees on the beaches and who are in the streets! Why are you complaining about them when you could put those seeking shelter in one of these houses! The refugees would be so grateful and FIX the place up. Then they could pay taxes and rent on the houses once they had jobs or they could even CREATE jobs in the village! I get a REAL lump in my throat and it makes me so angry when I see this waste. These countries are rich in their heritage and have hundreds of these houses all over the country! These countries also ENRICHED themselves off of slavery, land grabs, and natural resources from the Americas, Africa and the South Pacific! These houses are the reflection of that era! Now, that wealth is sitting their rotting while the bones of victims have sacrificed their souls for nothing! It makes me angry! There are no words!

  25. People need to become minimalist and have wills to eliminate family disputes with an executor too ensure it’s handled. This seems so sad and hurtful to the parents. Beautiful furnishing. Love seeing how others lived but dislike seeing destruction from nature and those who break in and ravage the place.

  33. I love exploring the past and the footprints left by our ancestors, those who came before us, and even those whose lives were not so distant from our own. Those who once filled those empty rooms with Joy and Laughter, and sometimes with unbearable sorrow. It gives me a tender and purposeful sense of continuity and the realization that nothing is ever permanent. It is all a Journey, some times a long Journey, some times not so long. But Ultimately, what we make of it.
    I really enjoy how you guys present your videos with Integrity, Respect, Non-Judgment and Admirable Reverence when exploring. GREAT JOB!!!

  39. I just had a second thought when I saw the sink on the second floor. Is it possible that not the rain so much but a leaking, broken pipe is leading to all the water damage? am so surprised the water would not have been shut off by now, I suppose if it is leaky pipe, shuttingthe water off would be immaterial

  40. SO very sad to hear the rain coming in the house, we put a roof on our homes to stop that. Either the family has left the house and no one was able to look after it or the family has failed the house by not being able to care for it. Either way, it is so sad to see the state of the house. so much water collected somewre on the roof that has caused it leak into the house. Thank you so much for taking us along with you for another great adventure

  44. One sign only abandoned few years ago aside from the 2012 calendar is the front load washing machine. Only since a few years ago people are into a front load (glass like) washing machine.

  45. Could the water be a pipe leak and not rain? Looked awful heavy with it not even raining. Ok the mom keeps coming out of me. Have you considered wearing protective hats/hardhat when in these partially collapsed buildings? Would you consider it if only for the sake of my heart. I nearly panic when you go in those rooms even though I know you got out since it was posted. Ok mom gone. I do love your vids and enjoyed the vloging very much.
